From now on it’s possible to hike on Stora Alvaret all the way from Karlevi in the north, to Ottenby at the very south tip of Öland. This is due to new trails, connecting the Stora Alvar trail up north with the Gösslunda trail and further on to Tingstad Flisor. This way you have the possibility of a long hike in a spectacular part of our World heritage on Stora Alvaret. The trails are marked with piles of stones, or small post with white tips, so they’re easy to follow. Feel free to enjoy our world heritage from first row!
